friday five
sex is a weird thing to me these days. but i don’t really feel like writing about it. it’s dramatic and annoying.
i’m going to start doing friday five, so here goes (it’s vaguely yankees themed. i’m totally apathetic about sports so i’m ignoring their puns):
1. According to the cliche, if you “spare the rod,” you “spoil the child.” Who in your life was probably spared A Rod while growing up?
first of all, that’s a fucking stupid phrase. children should never be hit in any form. but anyway, my roommate’s dad was here today and she is ridiculously spoiled.
In how many directions this week did you feel you were being Yanked?
a few. math was being weird and an old boy texted me and all i wanted to do was go see CC in her show (she was fucking fantastic last night, by the way. that girl can ACT) and see my friends who are visiting this weekend.
On whom have you depended for relief this week?
CC and CS. (CS is one of my very close friends from home) so basically, the usuals.
Who deserves a standing ovation this week (or even a hip-hip Jorge)?
CC! like i said, fantastic in her show. my friends and i actually did give her a standing ovation.
When did you last have a taste of Champagne?
last weekend. i got a quick sip of it as my friend ran past holding a bottle of it. it was the best liquor i’ve had since i got here (college liquor sucks).
